Our Corowa team are looking to recruit bar staff who can match their pace and enthusiasm in our busy restaurant.

To excel in this role you will need a  willingness to work hard and be a part of a team environment. Be able to speak up if you need help with your role and be willing to help others if they need it. Have fun and enjoy being a part of a team who loves creating a dining experience for all D’Amico’s customers.

The main duties are:

  • Cash handling inclusive of eftpos, vouchers, gift cards using ordermate. 
  • Stock control, including notifications for reordering 
  • Taking reservations and greeting and seating guests 
  • Kitchen cleaning duties, including supplying, dispensing or mixing liquor 
  • Making cocktails  
  • Taking reservations and greeting and seating guests 
  • Fulfilling general duties for food or beverages in the restaurant, including cleaning tables & table service for drinks from the age of 18.

Chef

The D’Amico’s team is highly regarded for their warm hospitality and interesting menus, where flavoursome dishes offer a variety of modern cuisine, alongside fine Italian fare.

We are now recruiting for a Chef who has Cert 3 in Catering Operations or Commercial Cookery or experience in Commercial Cookery.

The right person for the role will have the ability to follow instructions, show initiative with a willingness to support all aspects of the team functioning. This is a rapid paced service environment, so the ability to work under pressure is a must.

The main cooking duties are as follows:

  • Cooking duties during meal service  
  • Assisting employees who are cooking
  • Assembly and preparation of ingredients for cooking
  • General pantry duties, monitoring stock levels and reporting refill requirements
  • Training of apprentice chefs as required.
  • General cleaning duties within a kitchen or food preparation area and scullery, including the cleaning of cooking and general utensils used in a kitchen and restaurant.
  • Any other reasonable request as directed by your line manager and in line with your required role.
